Offmint
Robinhood Stock Tokens can't be minted on weekends or US holidays (about 31% of the year), but they keep trading onchain. Thin new listings spike: HIMS ran more than 300% above its Friday price on 29 Aug. Offmint is session-gated liquidity: a vault that places a four-step sell ladder above the reference price only while minting is off, and buys back after reopen with a price cap. Plus a live monitor, a weekend report of every past spike, and a personal sell order from your own wallet.

THE PROBLEM
Robinhood Stock Tokens can only be minted and burned during the tokenization window (Mon 02:00 to Sat 02:00 CET/CEST, closed on US holidays). That's about 31% of the year with supply frozen while trading continues onchain. When buyers rush in, prices run far above the real share price, then fall back when minting reopens.
HIMS reached +317% on 29 Aug and GLXY +186% on 12 Sep. Across 12 mint-off windows, buyers paid over $3.6M above the reference price on trades priced more than 5% above it, from 23,000+ wallets.
THE SOLUTION Offmint is a new financial primitive: session-gated liquidity. Supply that exists only while minting is off, sits only above the reference price, and buys back with a cap.
- Community vault: holders deposit tokens they already own. When minting closes, the vault places a four-step Uniswap v4 sell ladder from +8% to +55% above Friday's reference. After reopen it buys back, never above the fresh price + 1%.
Depositors end with more tokens after a spike, the same after a quiet weekend.
- Personal sell order: the same idea from your own wallet, priced from the real share price, using Uniswap's PositionManager. Offmint never holds your tokens. - Monitor: live premiums, verified against liquidity and freshness checks.
- Weekend report: every past mint-off window, how far prices ran, and how much buyers paid above the reference.
HOW IT'S BUILT - Solidity + Foundry, ERC-4626 vaults, direct Uniswap v4 PoolManager integration.
- A session clock for the minting window, plus a price reference for new listings that have no Chainlink feed yet (from Robinhood's own API, with caps and freeze controls).
- Separate vaults keep holders apart from experimental strategies. Hard limits are written into the contracts. A rules-based keeper (not AI) can't move funds, and anyone can finish a cycle if it stops.
- 160 contract tests, invariant and stress tests, a Slither report, a threat model. All contracts verified on Robinhood Chain testnet. The keeper ran a full weekly cycle onchain on its own.
HONEST RESULTS Replays that include our own price impact show about +3.8% to +7.1% on a big spike weekend, about 0% on normal weekends, and -0.1% at worst. Capacity is about $1,600 per pool today, and at this size Offmint doesn't calm the spike; holders capture part of the premium. MetaVault, an automated stock-picking version, is experimental: its picker missed HIMS in testing.
WHY ROBINHOOD CHAIN This only exists because of how Stock Tokens work: a minting window, frozen weekend reference prices, and thin new listings. Robinhood plans weekend trading for a curated list of stocks, which confirms the demand for weekend liquidity; thin new listings, where the spikes happen, are where Offmint matters.
ROADMAP Audit, then capped mainnet launch. Buybacks through RFQ market makers for more capacity. Supply into launchpad pools. Support live weekend reference prices when they exist. Other tokenized-stock issuers.
