We are looking for projects that can improve how industries and businesses operate in the next generation of technology.
Strong project ideas may include:

1. Relevance to Industrial 5.0 — 20%
Judges will assess how well the project fits the Industrial 5.0 theme.
Strong projects should support one or more of the following:
Human-centric innovation
AI-assisted productivity
Smarter industrial workflows
Sustainable systems
Resilient supply chains
Safer workplaces
Better collaboration between humans and machines
Industry transformation using AI, Web3, cloud, or automation
The project should clearly explain why the solution matters for Industrial 5.0.
2. Innovation & Originality — 20%
Judges will assess how creative, unique, and differentiated the idea is.
Strong projects should show:
A fresh approach to solving the problem
Clear difference from existing solutions
Smart use of AI, Web3, cloud, data, or automation
A new workflow, business model, or user experience
Strong potential beyond the hackathon
Copied, generic, or low-effort projects will receive lower scores.
3. Technical Execution — 20%
Judges will assess how well the team built the solution.
Strong projects should demonstrate:
A working prototype or functional demo
Clear technical architecture
Proper use of the chosen technology stack
Integration of AI, Web3, cloud, APIs, or data systems where relevant
Good product flow and usability
Clear explanation of what was built during the hackathon
The project does not need to be production-ready, but it should show real technical effort.
4. Real-World Use Case & Market Value — 15%
Judges will assess whether the project solves a real problem.
Strong projects should show:
Clear target users
Clear problem statement
Practical value for industries, companies, workers, developers, or communities
Potential use case in Malaysia, Southeast Asia, or global markets
Customer, user, or enterprise adoption potential
Clear reason why the solution is needed
A good project should not only be cool technology. It should solve something meaningful.
5. Feasibility & Scalability — 15%
Judges will assess whether the project can realistically continue after the hackathon.
Strong projects should show:
Clear next steps
Realistic technical and business direction
Scalable architecture or deployment plan
Potential to become a startup, pilot, open-source tool, or ecosystem product
Ability to grow with more users, partners, or integrations
Awareness of risks, limitations, and challenges
6. Pitch, Demo & Presentation Quality — 10%
Judges will assess how clearly the team communicates the project.
Strong teams should present:
Clear problem statement
Simple explanation of the solution
Working demo or prototype walkthrough
Clear technical explanation
Strong storytelling
Clear user or market value
Honest explanation of current limitations
Confident answers during Q&A
The presentation should help judges understand the project quickly and believe in its potential.
