Job Description:

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Growth Marketing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting competitor analysis, assisting with SEO-focused copywriting, managing website content, researching and providing insights on ad creative, executing landing page builds, tracking creative performance and supporting the marketing and creative teams with various tasks.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine competitive analysis: Perform weekly and monthly competitive analysis to evaluate our company's performance in relation to competitors. Gather and analyze data on competitor offers, advertisements, and designs to inform strategic planning.
  • Research and create SEO-focused copy: Conduct keyword research and create compelling, search engine-optimized copy for collections, products, and landing pages. Ensure that the content aligns with our brand voice and messaging guidelines.
  • Update and manage website content: Regularly update and manage website content, including bi-weekly resorting of merchandising/collection pages and occasional one-off updates. Ensure that all content is accurate, up-to-date, and visually appealing.
  • Research trending ad creative: Stay up to date with industry trends and research trending ad creative across various categories. Provide insights and recommendations to ensure that our ad campaigns are timely, relevant, and effective.
  • Execute landing page builds: Collaborate with the creative team to execute landing page builds in alignment with our brand identity and customer expectations. Ensure that landing pages are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions.
  • Conduct product and competitor research: Conduct thorough research on new and existing product launches as well as competitor strategies. Identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Review websites and inform tech stack strategies: Continuously review our own website and other DTC websites to identify best practices, UX/UI, merchandising strategies, and potential tech stack improvements. Provide recommendations to enhance the overall website experience.
  • Manage media and creative assets library: Organize and manage product and lifestyle images in our media and creative assets library. Ensure that assets are appropriately labeled, easily accessible, and regularly updated.
  • Update partners on offers and provide creative assets: Keep partners informed about ongoing offers and provide briefs and creative assets as needed. Collaborate with Shareasale Affiliates, C02Hero, and other partners to support marketing efforts.
  • Basic image edits and uploading: Perform basic image editing tasks such as cropping and resizing. Upload edited images to our website and other platforms as required.
  • Source potential collaboration partners and artists: Research and identify potential partners and artists for collaboration opportunities. Gather relevant information and present recommendations to the marketing and creative teams.
  • Assist the Marketing and Creative teams: Support the Marketing and Creative teams with additional tasks as assigned. Collaborate on projects, initiatives, and campaigns to ensure the smooth execution of marketing strategies.
  • Catalog and track creative performance: utilizing an existing process and system to catalog and track the performance of our creative assets, including advertisements and landing pages. Monitor key metrics including but not limited to ad spend, click-through rates, conversions, and engagement levels.
  • Prior experience in a marketing or growth-focused role is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in SEO strategies and keyword research.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems
  • Familiarity with ad platforms.
  • Experience in eCommerce/DTC industry is preferred.
  • Experience with Shopify and Shopify apps is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of image editing software.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be available to align work schedule to have coverage over 9 am-2 pm Eastern Standard Time (9pm-2am PHT)
