Senior Architect: PERN Stack Developer

Job Summary:

As a Senior Architect - PERN Stack Developer, you will be responsible for spearheading the development and architecture of the client’s flagship product that leverages the PERN stack (Postgres, Express, React, and Node) with a Redis store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership: Define product's technical vision, create scalable architecture, lead team in best practices.
• PERN Stack Expertise: Proficiency in PERN components, hands-on development, integration, and optimization.
• Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, analyze performance, optimize for responsiveness and speed.
• Security & Reliability: Establish data security, ensure reliability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
• Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation for architecture, codebase, and future improvements.
• Integration & API Development: Design and implement APIs, seamlessly integrate modules and external services.
• Agile Development: Participate in Agile processes, sprint planning, stand-ups, ensure timely milestones.
• Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Stay updated on PERN stack trends, evaluate benefits for the product.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid 5+ years experience in software development with at least 3 years of experience focused on PERN stack development.
• Expert in Postgres, Express, React, and Node.
• Proficiency in Redis for caching and data storage.
• Strong knowledge in design principles, architectural patterns, and design patterns.
• Experience with continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment practices.
• Familiarity with security protocols, data protection, and vulnerability assessment.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and leadership skills
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment is essential.
