Social Media Management

The primary role of the Social Media Specialist is to manage and grow the social media presence of I-Remit, taking into consideration the Company’s business strategies and direction.


In fulfilling this role, the incumbent will create and execute social media strategies, and analyze its effectiveness to achieve the objectives of the organization.


Social Media Management:

  • Builds and executes social media strategies through research, benchmarking, and audience identification to attract the targeted market
  • Identifies, evaluates, and monitors emerging trends and stays abreast with the best practices in social media
  • Attracts and interacts with the targeted market via campaigns
  • Monitors the interactions occurring in social media that will affect the organization and recommends appropriate programs (ORSM- Online Reputation & Sentiment Management)
  • Collaborates with the other departments in the organization to manage the reputation of the company and coordinate necessary actions concerning the feedback gathered from social media sources
  • Prepares available analytics from social media engagements

 

Social Media Campaigns and Content Development:

  • Develops viral campaigns and content plan that will help generate public awareness about the company
  • Publishes and shares online contents that build meaningful connections to the target audience on social media platforms
  • Recommends programs for online campaign optimization
  • Designs and generates multimedia contents (print, videos and the like) to be posted in the company’s social media accounts
  • In charge of keeping updated comparisons of social media engagement of competitors


Other Functions:

  • Prepares the Procurement/Services Requisition Slip for the production of marketing collaterals and merchandises and processes the payments relative to social media engagements
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time


  • Graduate of Mass Communications, Multimedia Arts, Advertising or other related courses
  • At least two (2) years of experience in any multimedia and/or marketing-related work
  • Knowledge and experience in social media management, content development, and trends
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, and After Effects, and Final Cut Pro
  • Adequate knowledge in web design
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications
  • Highly creative and proactive in keeping abreast with the trends that may be helpful in the company’s marketing initiatives involving social media
  • Results driven, highly motivated, highly organized and can work with minimal supervision
  • Meets deadlines and deliverable targets, and contributes outputs to agreed timeframes
  • Responds to change in an enthusiastic manner and adjusts quickly, with little disruption to workload in the process
  • Exhibits professionalism and focused on building relationships with business partners
