Sales Manager


Job Description

Objectives:

 Represent the company with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings

 Research consumer needs and identifies how our solutions and product offering meet them

 Hire, train, motivate and advise a team of sales representatives

 Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance

 Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives

 Generate leads, build and nurture client relationships

 Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status


Qualifications:

 Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business Administration

 5+ years experience in Sales Management within a corporate setting

 Proven track record of success of the sales cycle from planning to closing

 Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibility and effectively at all levels of the organization

 Strong negotiation skills

 Preferably has experience dealing with Government Agencies and LGU’s thru public bidding (RFQs and ITBs)

 Knowledgeable with PhilGeps platform is an advantage.


Key Responsibilities:

 Create and execute strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends the reach

 Build and promote long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs

 Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them

 Oversee the sales team to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily check-ins with the team to set objectives for the day and monitor progress regularly

 Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

 Present sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team

 Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors

 Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals

 Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company relationship with them

 Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics

 Maintain data relative to partners, accounts and activities and will document customer interactions

 Prepare reporting as needed
