Position: Social Media Marketing Specialist

Number of hours: 20 hours/week

Schedule: 9AM to 12NN, UK Time


  • Utilize social media to find and attract relevant audiences, and customers, as defined above and in the marketing strategy
  • Understand how the algorithm on each platform works
  • Leverage content marketing strategies for social media
  • Create social media marketing plans and programs for each product and coordinate promotional support to increase market share
  • Create and manage customized customer-relations programs and maintain online relationships with customers
  • Gather, analyze and interpret marketing data, and provide short- and long-term market projections and reports
  • Gather marketing data and maintain the research database
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from clients as we deliver campaigns, and provide marketing information as needed
  • Offer the social media team guidance and discipline: plan, monitor, and evaluate job outcomes, to maintain the job results of the social media marketing team
  • Develop the social media marketing team by providing educational and experiential growth opportunities
  • Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned
  • 3+ years of experience in managing social media, business, marketing, media, public relations, or a related subject
  • Google Analytics certification
  • Expert in LinkedIn, Twitter/ X and Instagram as well as YouTube and Medium strategies too
  • Understanding of other key B2B social media platforms such as YouTube and Medium
  • Strong computer abilities utilizing G-suite, Microsoft Office, Slack and Veed.io, etc.
  • Has working knowledge of Active Campaign to manage newsletter and client engagement
  • Proficient using multi-social posting platforms such as Hootsuite, HubSpot, Lately.ai
  • Proficient using Canva as a content design platform
  • Proficient using visual design tools such as Leonardo and Dall-E is a plus
  • Proficient using ChatGPT4. OpenAI mostly and how to optimize social media content
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and the ability to seamlessly apply these ideas across various forms of outreach
  • General knowledge of search engine optimization and internet ranking for web content
  • Relevant experience identifying a target audience and how to tailor unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
  • Ability to oversee and manage a varied workforce while simultaneously working on multiple company objectives
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to efficiently prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor even under stressful situations
