Senior Business Analyst

• Ensures the success of the execution of the IT Engineering Project, specifically the
Business Analysis portion.
• Ensures adequate staffing to complete the required analysis work.
• Manages the onboarding/off-boarding activities for Business Analyst resource who
joins or leave the team.
• Ensures the business analysis best practices are established and followed in the
project.
• Leads the business analysts in requirements elicitations, producing necessary
documentations and sign-off, transitioning the requirements to the Development
team.
• Establishes any documentation templates such as Functional Requirements
Specification, Integration Document, Data Mapping Document, Master Process Flow,
etc. that are going to be used for the project.
• Ensures the team’s documentation is accurate and complete and meets the agreed
upon standards and deadlines are met.
• Coaches the team in terms of interaction with stakeholders, facilitation skills, and
participation in meetings.
• Identifies critical control points and preventive measures.
• Prepares metrics by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
including failed processes, system issues, recalls/rework, corrective actions, and
audits.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of
education and work-related experience
• A minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in a technical business analyst role
with a relevant tertiary qualification.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to
meet deadlines and accurately estimate development effort from specifications.
• An ability to positively adapt to change and make sure this change is reflected in the
design and delivery of workable solutions.
• General understanding in the areas of application programming, system and database
design would be an advantage.

superior customer service.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• The ability to employ critical thinking, reasoning, and analytical skill when problem
solving in an IT development environment, interpreting complex scenarios, and
providing clear and simple recommendations.
• The ability to manage priorities across a portfolio of multiple projects and BAU
activities.
• Knowledge of Financial Services industry and/or Banking Operations.
• Proven ability to engage with stakeholders across business and technology domains.
• With knowledge and experience of all application layers – API, Backend, and UI
• With knowledge and experience of SOAP and REST APIs and the ability to understand
XML + Schemas and JSON
• With knowledge and experience of SQL, SQL server, Technical Design – current and
future state, advance processing modelling – UML, Data Analysis, Testing & Debugging
• Previous Dev experience preferred but not required.
