Event Officer

The candidate will be responsible for the marketing and sales of the organization’s corporate events. He/she should build and maintain a relationship with clients and customers. The candidate will also be responsible for handling the sales and sign-ups for the event spaces.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Source for clients and delegates through lead generation, outbound calls, email marketing, and lead follow-ups
• Source and maintain communications with clients
• Coordinate and monitor event timelines
• Coordinates the preparation marketing collateral for programs and events
• Manage inquiries for the events
• Provide assistance in the logistics - ingress, and egress of the event
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients
• Planning event details and aspects, including seating, dining, and guests
• Creating financial reports
• Managing events and addressing potential problems
• Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event
• Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events
• Provide assistance during the ingress and egress of events
