Join a dynamic team as a remote Business Development Executive, working with a fast-growing consulting client focused on scaling businesses and delivering high-impact results. This is a part-time, remote opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals, gain hands-on experience in sales and strategic outreach, and contribute to a purpose-driven company.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cold outreach to new prospects and convert them into active leads.
- Follow up with warm leads and nurture them through the sales funnel.
- Schedule meetings between key stakeholders and potential clients or strategic partners via phone and email.
- Maintain and update lead data using CRM systems like Monday.com and Dex.
- Coordinate discovery calls and document key insights to support the sales process.
- Assist in refining sales strategies and implementing process improvements.
- Generate and manage reports using Google Sheets and Docs.
- Support contract preparation and document management.
- Collaborate with internal teams and utilize tools like Zoom, Calendly, Miro, and Typeform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, with 2+ years in service/consulting sales.
- Proven success in cold calling, lead generation, and closing deals.
- CRM proficiency (Dex, Monday.com, or similar platforms).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced experience with the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides).
- Skilled in research, client interactions, and organizing business documentation.
- Experience working remotely within a collaborative team for at least 3 years.
- Technical aptitude with tools like Zoom, Mailchimp, and AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Claude.
Nice to Have
- Background in business valuation, M&A, management consulting, or financial services.
- Experience with marketing automation and content creation using AI tools.
- Familiarity with Mailchimp and WordPress.
- Contract preparation and proposal writing experience.
