Product Marketing Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:
The AS Wholesales & Product Marketing Specialist is in charge of ensuring sales success of Nissan Aftersales Products by:
• Creation of new wholesale schemes that will impact dealers’ success to sell outside their workshop via over-the-counter sales to their Fleet & Individual repair facility customer.
• Develop and introduce new commodities that will strengthen NPI’s product line-up
JOB FUNCTION:
1. Wholesales strategy development
• Wholesales channel development:
o Grasp/analyze the needs of each potential Wholesales client category such as Independent Repair Facilities, Corporate fleets (who purchase Nissan vehicle but has own maintenance motorpool), Reseller/Wholesaler, then develop overall strategies aligned with NPI priority and AS strategy (Retention strategy etc.)
• Wholesales parts distribution policy:
o Develop parts to be offered to wholesale clients based on parts categories such as: - Vehicle model (Specific model, Existing or End of Production models) - Parts category (PMS, GJ, BRP etc.) - Parts movement category (Fast moving/Non-moving) - Geographical coverage by Nissan workshop
• Wholesales parts pricing strategy and program development:
o Develop overall pricing strategy/policy and plan implementation scheme such as incentive along with Wholesales achievement, discount table threshold along with customer classification etc.
o Develop wholesales runout program with certain discount and work with AS Parts Operations team to properly manage NPI obsolescence parts/Accessories
• Dealer operation standardization for Wholesales business:
o Parts ordering procedure from Client to Dealer
o Delivery requirement from Dealer to Client
o Payment term policy
o Parts return policy
o Dealer parts inventory policy for Wholesales
• Dealer organization/HR policy for Wholesales business:
o Dealer organization development
o Wholesales client/account management
o Training development for PIC of Wholesales at Dealer
• Wholesales performance management:
o Wholesales performance monitoring per Channel / per Client
o Reviewing of Wholesales program effectiveness
2. Commodities Strategy Development:
• New Commodity Development
o Analyze NPI product line-up and propose potential commodities that can fill-in current gaps in the offering.
• Commodity Program development
o Development of both dealer (internal) and customer (external) facing programs that will ensure success of current and new commodities.
• Commodities performance management
o Quarterly/Monthly key commodity performance monitoring, including dealer dispersion management.
3. Other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education and Certification
• At least college graduate with a degree in Engineering, Business Management, Marketing or any related courses.
2. Experience
• Preferably with Aftersales Automotive background
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong skills in the following areas: customer service, communications, teamwork, flexibility and reliability.
• Analytical ability in evaluating dealer KPIs, dealer capacity health check and vehicle technical concerns.
• Strong business sense, can see multiple opportunities to grow both NPI and it’s dealership’s business.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Power Point and Word.
3. Skills and Competencies
• Must have basic automotive knowledge and love for cars.
• Must have an overall understanding of the wholesale and retail business.
• Strong sense of ownership of his role and proactiveness to continuously improve assigned programs
• Creative and idealistic mindset, breaks boundaries and challenges status quo
• Adept in project and timeline management
• Energetic and collaborative mindset, open to work and contribute to a diverse team.
4. Physical requirements
• Preferably with valid driver’s license and driving skills
