About the Role

This is a 12 month Full-Time, Remote Independent Contractor position where you’ll work with international teams to build and enhance enterprise-grade applications and AI-driven tools for the manufacturing sector.

You will contribute to both legacy system modernization and greenfield initiatives, with a strong focus on cloud and AI technologies. It’s a hands-on, fast-paced environment ideal for engineers who value autonomy, technical depth, and meaningful impact.

About You

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications
• Write clean, maintainable code using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL
• Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver new features
• Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with a pragmatic approach
• Drive continuous improvement in code, tooling, and processes
• Stay current with technologies, especially in cloud, security, and AI\

• 3+ years of full-stack development experience in enterprise environments
• Strong experience in Java, J2EE/Java EE or Enterprise Java (3+ years)
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL
• Front-end experience with Angular or React
• Back-end experience with Wildfly or Apache Tomcat
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and Git
• Comfortable in Linux environments (preferably Ubuntu)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-scale AI or data platforms
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS)
• Experience with Spring Boot, GWT, or other Java frameworks
• Understanding of identity protocols (OIDC, SSO)
• Exposure to IoT, ICS/OT security, or edge computing
