Role: AU Tax Accountant
Work Arrangement: Work from Home
Location: Any CS PH Branch - Makati/Ortigas/Pampanga/Tarlac/Cebu/Davao
Schedule: Morning Shift
We are currently on the lookout for a new Tax Accountant (AU) to join our team at Cloudstaff, the #1 workplace everywhere!
- Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
- Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, and other compliance-related statements in accordance with Australian taxation standards
- Conduct complex reconciliations, inter-entity analysis, and group consolidations
- Provide tax planning and advisory support to clients
- Assist with payroll tax, STP, Division 7A, CGT, GST, and other relevant Australian tax areas
- Maintain accurate working papers, documentation, and audit trails in compliance with client and firm standards
- Support clients on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in delivering high-quality outcomes
- Monitor and meet productivity and turnaround KPIs
Qualification and requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- CA or CPA qualified (or currently working towards completion)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Australian tax and accounting experience
- In-depth understanding of Australian tax legislation, including GST, CGT, FBT, Division 7A
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Reckon (Reckon APS desirable)
- Strong technical accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English communication skills—both written and verbal
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative and proactive approach to team engagement and client service
- Experience in working within a public practice environment is preferred
