We are seeking a commercially driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to expand our footprint across two dynamic sectors: Animal Health & Nutrition and Textile Manufacturing & Garment Export.
The ideal candidate is a strong B2B sales professional capable of managing complex accounts, delivering technical product presentations, and driving revenue growth through strategic market expansion and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Client Acquisition
- Identify and penetrate new B2B accounts including feed mills, commercial farms, garment manufacturers, fashion brands, retail chains, and exporters.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through active prospecting, field visits, networking, and digital outreach.
- Develop territory sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Product Presentation & Technical Consultation
Animal Health & Nutrition
- Present natural and probiotic feed additives, herbal extracts, and functional supplements.
- Explain product benefits such as gut health improvement, FCR optimization, and antibiotic replacement.
- Conduct farm visits, product trials, and technical briefings with nutritionists and farm owners
Textile & Garmen
- Present fabrics (knits, wovens, cotton, polyester, rayon), industrial threads, and finished garments
- Advise clients on GSM, durability, colorfastness, drape, and garment suitability
- Provide guidance on thread compatibility and production specifications
Sales Cycle Management
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation, closing, and after-sales support.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts aligned with company pricing strategies.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends in both sectors.
- Stay updated on agricultural innovations, sustainable textiles, seasonal trends, and export regulations.
- Provide strategic insights to management for product positioning and growth opportunities.
Relationship & Account Management
- Build long-term partnerships with key decision-makers.
- Coordinate with technical, production, and logistics teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain strong retention and repeat business performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, Textile Technology, Fashion Management, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development (animal feed additives, veterinary products, textiles, or garment manufacturing preferred).
- Strong understanding of either:
- Poultry, swine, or aquaculture nutrition, or
- Textile materials, fabric specifications, and garment production processes.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex negotiations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify technical information.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and fieldwork.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong negotiation and closing skills.
