POSITION TITLE: Workspace ONE Solutions Engineer (L3 Support)

WORK LOCATION: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

WORK SETUP: Day Shift

SALARY: MYR 90k to MYR 144k


The Resident Engineer shall be responsible and accountable for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Provide onsite and remote Level 3 technical support for Omnissa Workspace ONE during day-to-day operations and project implementation activities (if any).
  • Manage and support Workspace ONE components including UEM, Access, and related integrations within TNB’s environment.
  • Perform proactive system monitoring, periodic health checks, and preventive maintenance to ensure system stability.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve incidents related to device enrollment, application deployment, access authentication, and compliance policies.
  • Coordinate with Omnissa principal or authorized support to expedite resolution of complex or critical issues.
  • Support planned and unplanned works including upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and emergency recovery activities.
  • Maintain operational documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and technical runbooks.
  • Maintain a log book containing records of daily activities, inspections, meetings, incidents, and changes, to be endorsed monthly by the appointed TNB Manager.
  • Provide continuous knowledge transfer, mentoring, and technical guidance to TNB technical teams


Functional/Technical Competency

  • Strong hands-on expertise in Workspace ONE UEM administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience managing Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
  • Knowledge of identity and access integration such as Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, and SSO.
  • Understanding of certificate-based authentication, device compliance, and security policy enforcement.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts related to VPN, proxy, and endpoint connectivity.
  • Experience with Workspace ONE upgrade, patching, backup, and recovery procedures.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and recommend long-term corrective actions.


Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting Omnissa Workspace ONE or VMware Workspace ONE.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale endpoint management environments.
  • Relevant certification such as Omnissa Workspace ONE Professional or equivalent VMware certification is preferred.
  • Strong expertise in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Omnissa Workspace ONE
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.


Must-Haves:

  • Valid work permit
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Candidate with 5 to 8 yrs total exp, must have Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting Omnissa Workspace ONE or VMware Workspace ONE.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale endpoint management environments.
  • Relevant certification such as Omnissa Workspace ONE Professional or equivalent VMware certification is preferred.
  • Strong expertise in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Omnissa Workspace ONE
  • Either L2 or L3 candidates
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
