Back Office Management Department Overview
Back Office Management oversees and controls the admin/back-office system by managing user access, roles, and permissions, ensuring proper segregation of duties, and monitoring system activity logs.
The team ensures data accuracy through structured reporting, supports audits and compliance requirements, and manages backend configurations including game listings, platform content, and system rules.
Back Office also plays a critical role in the implementation and validation of promotions, bonuses, and rewards mechanics, ensuring alignment with business objectives while preventing revenue leakage and operational risks.
Job Overview
The Back Office (BO) Admin Officer is responsible for executing and monitoring backend system operations to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance across the MegaWagi platform.
The role focuses on system administration, data integrity, reporting, and operational execution, including the accurate configuration and validation of bonuses and rewards mechanics.
This is a highly execution-driven role that supports daily operations, ensures backend integrity, and escalates issues when necessary under the guidance of the BO Admin Team Leader.
Key Deliverables
- Oversee and control the admin/back-office system operations
- Manage user access, admin roles, and permissions
- Ensure proper segregation of duties and access compliance
- Monitor admin activity logs and system event records
- Maintain accuracy of operational and system data
- Prepare and review daily and 3-hourly operational reports
- Assist with account recovery, status corrections, and system issues
- Support audits, compliance checks, and management reviews
- Manage system configurations, game listings, and content visibility
- Implement approved features, promotions, bonuses, and system rules
- Configure, implement, and validate bonus and rewards mechanics (e.g., FTD, Reload, Rebates) in the backend system based on approved campaign requirements
- Ensure accuracy of bonus computations, wagering requirements, caps, and eligibility rules before and after deployment
- Monitor Telegram group chats for system notices, including scheduled maintenance, server issues, or game-specific downtimes
Key Responsibilities
System Administration & Access Control
- Manage backend user access, admin roles, and permissions
- Ensure compliance with segregation of duties
- Monitor admin logs and system activities for irregularities
- Implement backend configuration updates as approved
Reporting & Data Integrity
- Prepare and submit daily and 3-hourly operational reports
- Ensure data accuracy across backend systems and reports
- Generate and validate operational metrics (e.g., GGR, activity reports)
- Maintain proper documentation of backend actions
Bonus & Rewards Configuration
- Execute backend setup of all bonus types (FTD, Reload, Rebates, Special Campaigns)
- Ensure alignment of backend configuration with Marketing and Operations campaign mechanics
- Validate computation logic including wagering requirements, caps, and eligibility rules
- Perform pre-deployment QA checks on all bonus setups
- Monitor live bonuses post-deployment and flag any discrepancies immediately
Backend Monitoring & Issue Handling
- Monitor system alerts, backend flags, and operational dashboards
- Handle account recovery, status corrections, and backend adjustments with proper approval
- Perform manual balance/chip adjustments with complete documentation
- Identify, document, and escalate system issues
Platform & Content Management
- Manage game visibility, listings, and backend configurations
- Implement approved promotions, bonuses, and feature updates
- Update announcements, banners, and FAQs in the backend
- Configure streamer accounts, venue accounts, and related backend requirements
Payment & Risk Monitoring
- Monitor payment workflows and backend transactions
- Identify and flag suspicious or fraudulent activities
- Assist in blacklisting payment methods when required
- Support risk validation through backend checks
Monitoring & Communication
- Monitor Telegram groups for real-time system updates (maintenance, downtime, alerts)
- Provide timely updates to relevant teams regarding system status
- Coordinate with internal teams for backend-related requirements
Escalation & Cross-Department Coordination
- Escalate system issues to Developers (bugs, backend errors, OTP/login issues)
- Escalate infrastructure issues to IT Lead (site access, DNS, SSL, redirects)
- Escalate game-related issues to Providers (maintenance, loading issues)
- Coordinate with Operations, Marketing, QA, and Compliance teams
Compliance & Audit Support
- Provide accurate backend data and reports for audits
- Ensure all backend actions are properly logged and traceable
- Support compliance checks and management reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in backend operations, admin systems, or gaming platforms is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in reporting, system monitoring, and data validation
- Familiarity with backend/admin panels or gaming systems (preferred)
- Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel and reporting tools
- Strong communication skills for coordination and escalation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment
