Java Application Developer

Singapore (Project‑based / Contract)


Arbeit Group is supporting one of our Singapore‑based clients in hiring experienced Java Application Developers to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance enterprise systems.


Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end Java applications

- Build and maintain scalable backend services using Java & Spring

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support production incidents

- Lead code reviews, ensure best practices, and mentor team members

- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD and cloud deployment

- Work closely with business and support teams to deliver robust solutions


Job Requirements


- Have 5–10 years of hands‑on Java development experience

- Strong expertise in Java (8/17+), Spring Boot, Spring Security

- Experience with REST APIs, XML, JSON, and ReactJS

- Solid background in SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, MariaDB)

- Familiar with microservices / AWS, CI/CD, Git/Bitbucket

- Experience with code quality & security tools (SonarQube, Fortify) is a plus

- Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders
