The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving company growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and increasing revenue. The role involves solution selling, client acquisition, market research, account management, and achieving sales targets.
The successful candidate will work closely with the sales and operations teams to present technology and business solutions to potential clients and maintain long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Generate leads and secure meetings with decision-makers.
- Present company products and services through meetings, calls, emails, and online demonstrations.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored business solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Negotiate contracts and close profitable deals.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize sales opportunities.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Submit accurate sales forecasts and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- Experience in solution selling and client relationship management.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
