Infrastructure Operations Support

Work Details

  • Full Onsite in Ortigas, Pasig
  • Day shift schedule
  • 36 months (3 years) contract

Package

  • Compensation includes a fixed monthly rate; 13th month pay (pro-rated, as applicable); optional HMO
  • Statutory government-mandated benefits; shuttle service within the Meralco franchise area (subject to limited capacity)
  • Employees are entitled to five (5) service incentive leaves annually after one (1) year of tenure; overtime and holiday pay are not applicable

Qualifications

  • Education: IT, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience: 1–3 years in IT operations, infrastructure support, application support, or business operations

Skills

  • Understanding of application operations, including how business applications function and interact with users and other systems
  • Working knowledge of database concepts—can perform basic queries, understand data flows, and support data-related troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, cloud environments) and how it supports application and database operations
  • Experience in incident handling, ticketing systems, and escalation procedures
  • Understanding batch processing, job scheduling, and monitoring
  • Basic troubleshooting skills across application, database, and infrastructure layers (can identify, log, and escalate issues; basic SQL/log analysis is a plus)
  • Adherence to SOPs, checklists, and compliance requirements
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with both routine and exception handling
  • Willingness to learn platform-specific runbooks and operational tools

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily system, application, and infrastructure operations to ensure availability and performance
  • Execute routine checks, batch jobs, and scheduled tasks following established runbooks and SOPs
  • Handle incidents, service requests, and alerts through ticketing systems; ensure timely resolution or escalation
  • Perform initial troubleshooting across application, database, and infrastructure layers
  • Support data validation, simple queries, and basic database-related issue investigation
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and support activities
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing and audit compliance
  • Ensure adherence to operational standards, security policies, and compliance requirements
  • Assist in system maintenance activities, including patching support and environment checks
  • Provide status updates and reports on incidents, system health, and task completion
  • Continuously learn and apply platform-specific tools, processes, and technologies to improve support efficiency
