Java Senior Software Development Engineer for Test

Work Address: Makati

Work Set-up: Hybrid, 3 days onsite and 2 days WFH (no strict time on office hours during on-site reports) under discretion of the manager

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Non-negotiable Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software testing, with strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Unix scripting

• Involved in overall scripting and automation from the ground up

• Extensive hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks

• Strong understanding of system architecture and system integration testing

• Ability to manage non-production environments and facilitate/support UAT activities

• Continuous learning mindset with commitment to staying current with industry best practices

NIce-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with FIX Protocol and knowledge of Capital Markets, Trading or Execution environments will be an advantage.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, maintain and enhance automated test scripts using AI-driven tools and established frameworks as well as own the automation tool and manage the UAT environment, ensuring reliability, smooth system usage and effective support.

• Develop automation scripts in Java (JUnit) or similar languages, validate system integrations (including failure scenarios) and embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for early and continuous quality checks.

• Drive continuous improvement of automation processes and track key metrics such as automation coverage and script effectiveness.
