Technical Development Engineer

Skilled Technical Development Engineer (DevsOps) manage and optimize infrastructure, development pipeline, and system reliability for a high-performance sportsbook platform. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, scalability, and continues delivery in real-time, high -concurrency betting environment. The ideal candidate has strong DevOps experience and can collaborate effectively with Mandarin-speaking teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

> Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.

> Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS / Alibaba Cloud / GCP)

> Deploy, monitor, and maintain containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)

> Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and system scalability.

> Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues( latency, downtime, failurs)

> Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

> Collaborate with development teams to streamline release processes.

> Manage version control and deployment workflows (Git, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins)

> Ensure system security, access control, and compliance standards.

> Support production environment during high-traffic events (live sports matches)

QUALFIICATIONS:

> Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

> 3- 5 years of experience in DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering

> Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions)

> hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

> Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or GCP)

> Familiarity with Linux systems and shell scripting.

> Fluent in Mandarin and English (required)

> Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

PREFERENCES:

> Experience managing high-concurrency, real-time production systems.

> Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)

> Experience with auto-scaling, load balancing, and distributed systems architecture.

> Familiarity with message queues and streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

> Experience with database performance tuning and system optimization.

> Knowledge if security best practices (IAM, network security, secrets management).

> Experience with blue-green deployment / rolling deployment strategies.

> Familiarity with incident management and SRE practices (SLI/SLO/SLA).

> Experience in sportsbook, fintech, or transaction-heavy platforms is a plus.

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday

9 hours per day including 1hr meal break time

Shifting schedule (aligned with system operations / live events.)
