In this role, you’ll work closely with engineering, product, and project management teams to ensure requirement clarity and integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle. With strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, you will continuously improve automation coverage, test execution efficiency, and overall product stability, helping deliver consistent quality across releases while reducing manual effort.



Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts and test scenarios based on product requirements.
  2. Perform automated functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure system performance, stability, and reliability.
  3. Build and maintain automation frameworks, improving test coverage and reducing manual effort.
  4. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable releases
  5. Perform and oversee functional, regression, integration, and API testing
  6. Analyze system behavior, identify risks, and ensure early defect detection
  7. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to clarify requirements and improve testability
  8. Mentor junior/mid-level QA engineers and review automation code quality
  9. Monitor and improve test coverage, execution time, and pipeline stability
  10. Own and improve quality metrics, reporting, and release readiness
  11. Support and guide UAT strategy and validation of critical user journeys
  12. Continuously evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and testing approaches


Qualifications:


  1. 3–5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with strong focus on automation
  2. Proven experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch
  3. Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.)
  4. Deep experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium
  5. Solid understanding of test architecture, design patterns, and maintainable test code
  6. Hands-on experience with API testing (REST, Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
  7. Strong experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  8. Experience with version control systems (Git) and modern development workflows
  9. Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  10. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, ClickUp, etc.)
  11. Strong analytical thinking and ability to debug complex issues across systems
  12. Experience working in cross-functional teams and influencing engineering quality

Preferred Qualification:

  1. Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, Gatling)
  2. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  3. Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.)
  4. Experience mentoring team members
