Job Summary
The Human Resource Assistant provides support in the implementation and coordination of HR functions, primarily focusing on Recruitment, Employee Relations (ER), and Labor Relations (LR). This role ensures that hiring processes are efficiently carried out, employee concerns are addressed appropriately, and labor standards are maintained in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment
- Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting qualified candidates for various job vacancies.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, exams, and initial assessments.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system and recruitment databases.
- Conduct background checks and pre-employment requirements processing.
- Assist in onboarding and orientation of new hires.
- Sending of Regret Letter to not qualified applicants.
- Contact monitoring and preparation of performance evaluation form of probationary employees.
- Preparation and releasing of inter-office memo for new employees and resigned employees.
- Preparation of Acceptance letter for resigned employees.
Employee Relations (ER)
- Support in the investigation and documentation of employee concerns, complaints, or grievances.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and morale-boosting initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Provide general guidance to employees on company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
Labor Relations (LR)
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of notices, memos, and reports related to labor issues and disciplinary actions.
- Support compliance with labor laws and help monitor policy implementation aligned with DOLE regulations.
- Coordinate with supervisors and department heads regarding labor concerns and disciplinary matters.
- Attend HR hearings or meetings as required to provide administrative support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in recruitment or HR support; exposure to ER/LR is a plus.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices is an advantage.
- Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle sensitive information.
