Senior Manager for Sales & Business Development will lead the company’s commercial
strategy for swine trading. Ensuring sustainable revenue growth, strong customer relationships, and market expansion. The role combines sales leadership, business development, and account management, with accountability margins, pricing discipline, and sales performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Strategy and Planning
• Develop and implement sales strategies for businesses, aligned with production capacity and market demand.
• Set and monitor sales targets, customer mix, and profitability goals.
• Forecast demand and coordinate closely with farm operations and supply planning.
Business Development
• Expand customer base in livestock (swine buyers, traders, breeders).
• Develop new market channels, partnerships, and Business to Business opportunities.
• Keep abreast of market trends, competitor pricing, and emerging opportunities.
Pricing Management
• Implement pricing strategies for balancing volume growth and profitability.
• Monitor market fluctuations (market prices) and adjust accordingly.
• Ensure disciplined discounting and credit control policies.
Sales Operations Management
• Lead, coach, and evaluate the sales team (key accounts, retail support, trading).
• Oversee sales processes to ensure timely order fulfillment and issue resolution.
• Standardize sales reporting, KPIs, and customer performance dashboards.
Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with all accounts (such as but not limited to
traders, institutional buyers, key retailers).
• Represent the company in industry associations, trade events, and customer and partner
negotiations.
• Manage long-term contracts and agreements with all clients.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Operations (production, supply chain) to align sales with supply capability.
• Coordinate with Finance for collection, credit monitoring, and margin analysis.
• Provide market intelligence to management for better decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agribusiness, Animal Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in agribusiness sales (preferably livestock, poultry, or
feed industry).
• Proven experience in managing sales teams and B2B accounts.
• Strong understanding of farm-to-market dynamics, pricing, and trading practices.
• Negotiation skills, financial acumen, and ability to manage margins.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Age requirement: Below 45 age old
