ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and highly strategic Business Development Manager to drive our market expansion and commercial footprint across the Visayas region. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying high-value growth opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and managing complex, long-cycle institutional sales from lead generation to contract execution.
This role is ideal for a seasoned commercial professional with a sophisticated understanding of healthcare procurement, deep-rooted connections with regional healthcare executives, and the agility to introduce specialized medical solutions to both clinical and administrative stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive territory growth plan to identify and capture untapped market share within public and private healthcare ecosystems in Visayas.
- High-Level Stakeholder Management: Establish, nurture, and leverage relationships with key decision-makers, including Hospital Directors, Chief Medical Officers, Clinical Department Heads, and Procurement/BAC Board Members.
- Institutional Bidding & Procurement: Oversee and navigate complex institutional sales pipelines, public tenders, and private hospital procurement protocols, ensuring robust technical and compliance alignment.
- Value-Based Consultative Selling: Position our diverse product portfolio as a strategic asset, translating clinical efficacy and technical specifications into strong financial ROI and operational value for hospital management.
- Cross-Functional Care Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate specialized patient-care and continuous-care solutions into institutional and homecare workflows.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor regional market dynamics, competitor movements, and local healthcare policy shifts to proactively pivot regional commercial strategies.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (degrees in Business, Life Sciences, Nursing, or allied health fields are a plus).
- Experience: At least 5 years proven track record in medical device, and or healthcare equipment
- Local Network: An established professional network within public and private hospital circuits across the Visayas region.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
