JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and financial strategy of the organization. This role involves analyzing financial data, managing budgeting and cost control principles, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving long-term strategic growth. Working closely with executive leadership, the candidate will direct financial reporting, manage risk, facilitate group planning sessions, and guide key business decisions through detailed financial analysis and forecasting.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
●Degree in Finance or Accountancy
●Must be a CPA.
●At least five years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
●Occupied senior manager position of no less than 5 years;
●Preferably w/ business acumen in real estate and construction industry;
●Experience in strategic planning and execution.
●Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
●Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
●Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
●Knowledge of national and local financial regulations.
●Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
●Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
●Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
●Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
●Attention to details.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial Analysis & Planning: Analyze financial data, statements, and projections to guide strategic decision-making, long-term business planning, and growth initiatives.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Direct and oversee budgeting, accounting operations, and cost control principles in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Reporting & Compliance: Supervise automated financial and accounting reporting systems, ensuring accurate, timely financial reports and full compliance with national and local regulations.
- Strategic Execution & Negotiations: Lead strategic planning, change management, and financial risk assessment while supporting contract negotiations and business structuring.
- Team Leadership & Facilitation: Motivate, lead, and manage high-performing finance teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes; participate in and facilitate strategic group meetings.
- Stakeholder & Project Management: Collaborate cross-functionally across multiple simultaneous projects, communicating complex financial metrics clearly to internal and external partners.
