We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial analysis, investment evaluation, market research, and strategic decision-making across our ecosystem.

Role Overview

As a Financial Analyst, you will work closely with the strategy and investment teams to analyze companies, projects, markets, and investment opportunities.

You will be responsible for building financial models, conducting valuation and due diligence analysis, monitoring market developments, and translating financial and market data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models for investment and strategic analysis.
• Conduct financial analysis of companies, blockchain projects, protocols, and emerging technology businesses.
• Support investment evaluation and due diligence processes.
• Analyze revenue models, operating metrics, cash flows, expenses, and financial performance.
• Perform company and project valuations using appropriate methodologies.
• Research and analyze Web3, blockchain, crypto, and technology markets.
• Analyze tokenomics, token supply structures, emissions, unlock schedules, and market dynamics where applicable.
• Monitor financial and operational performance of portfolio companies and projects.
• Prepare investment analysis, financial reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Conduct comparable company and market analysis.
• Evaluate business models, growth assumptions, unit economics, and financial projections.
• Identify financial risks, opportunities, and key performance drivers.
• Support scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Track macroeconomic, market, and industry developments relevant to investment decisions.
• Collaborate with strategy, investment, business development, and research teams.
• Present analytical findings and financial insights to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience building financial models.
• Understanding of valuation methodologies, including DCF and comparable company analysis.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to conduct independent financial and market research.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work with large datasets and translate complex information into clear conclusions.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international, remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Web3, blockchain, crypto, venture capital, or technology companies.
• Understanding of DeFi, Layer 1/Layer 2 ecosystems, stablecoins, infrastructure, or other blockchain sectors.
• Experience analyzing tokenomics and crypto-native business models.
• Familiarity with on-chain analytics and blockchain data platforms.
• Experience with financial databases and research platforms.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or other analytical tools is a plus.
• CFA, ACCA, FRM, or relevant financial qualifications are a plus.
• Additional language skills, particularly Chinese, are a plus.
