Gala is excited to announce we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team and help us build a world-class workforce. The HR Generalist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. You will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, with experience in fast-paced, innovative environments. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work closely with our leadership team to drive company culture and employee engagement.

Responsibilities
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Partner with legal for offer letters, contractor agreements, terminations, etc.
- Create employment agreements for all U.S. hires and work with our EOR for new hires.
- Create contractor agreements as needed.
- Management of 401k Administration
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Assist with payroll, benefits, and staff engagement processes.
- Nurture a positive working environment and company culture.
- Create and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Manage international staff EOR administration
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Proven prior experience as an HR Generalist or other HR position with at least 3+ years in a dynamic, fast-moving, agile environment.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Prior experience working with international staff and with an EOR or multiple entities.
- BS/MS degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Agile methodology experience in HR practices.
