Before this hackathon, we already had the foundation of Arcane - Chains of Eternity: a functional map, enemy system, the core Spell System, and the Marketplace. During this hackathon, we wanted to push beyond the basics - so we began by introducing multiplayer and PvP. Our approach was to first ensure smooth synchronization and real-time combat between players. Once we had stable interactions, we layered in matchmaking and combat balancing to make battles skill-based rather than stat-heavy. This marked our first major step toward making Arcane a truly living, competitive world. Next, we revamped the entire map. Instead of a simple play area, we reimagined Arcane’s world as an evolving story-driven universe. We designed regions, villages, and dungeons — each tied to the game’s lore. Since we plan to take Arcane beyond the hackathon, we structured the storyline to unfold in phases, allowing us to expand content over time while keeping players engaged. Finally, we built the Quest Manager, a key piece of Arcane’s progression system. The idea started with how we could make every quest dynamic and fair. We integrated VRF to bring randomness and fairness into quest rewards, and combined it with custom algorithms to match quests with player levels and playstyles. To make the experience seamless, we used scheduled transactions, letting quests and events trigger automatically at set intervals - creating a sense of continuity and immersion. From single-player exploration to a multiplayer, story-rich, and on-chain dynamic world - this hackathon was where Arcane truly began to feel alive.

We are currently in the pre-seed phase, seeking strategic partners and early investors to accelerate Arcane’s evolution from a hackathon project into a full-fledged RPG ecosystem. Our funding focus includes expanding multiplayer infrastructure, developing additional world phases, and integrating the on-chain economy at scale. With a working prototype, multiplayer features, and a strong foundational community, Arcane is now ready to enter its next stage — growing into a persistent, story-rich, and player-owned world that stands the test of time.
