HackX Hackathon by Athena is a global innovation challenge where developers, designers, and creators come together to build real solutions using the latest technology. It’s a space to learn, create, and share ideas while connecting with other builders and mentors.
I joined this hackathon with one goal — to build a platform that makes hackathons simple and accessible for everyone. At first, I only had an idea, but step by step, I turned it into a working project. Using React, I designed a clean, responsive interface. I added features like hackathon discovery, project gallery, judge dashboard, wallet-based login (MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase), and IPFS storage to keep data safe and decentralized.
It wasn’t always easy — I faced issues with file structures, backend setup, and design details. But with patience and continuous learning, I solved each challenge. I focused on user experience, making it easy for anyone to register, track schedules, submit projects, and view results.
This journey taught me how to plan, design, and build a real-world product from scratch. The HackX Hackathon by Athena gave me the motivation, resources, and confidence to bring my idea to life.
