Breathing Home is an advanced home automation system developed by us team Avengers (Mitesh Mawar and Krishna Mawar), designed to bring high-end smart home technology at an affordable cost. Unlike conventional solutions that rely on expensive hubs or cloud-dependent devices, Breathing Home leverages a distributed architecture using ESP32 as the master controller and multiple ESP-01 modules for socket-level automation. This design ensures seamless communication, lower latency, and enhanced reliability.
And addionally we are working as a service providers who analyze your home, create customized hardwares and install them for you in your home.
Each ESP-01 module manages up to 15 switches per socket, collecting real-time sensor data and controlling appliances. The system integrates optocouplers for isolation, and voltage sensors for monitoring power usage and safety. Instead of using pre-made relays, Breathing Home features custom-designed optocoupler-based relays, ensuring durability and precision control over high-voltage switching.
The software ecosystem behind Breathing Home is equally robust. It features a sleek, Uber-like UI with an intuitive user experience, powered by Electron.js for desktop control and Expo for mobile access. The system synchronizes data with Firebase, enabling remote monitoring, automation routines, and AI-driven optimizations for energy efficiency.
Breathing Home is positioned as an affordable solution, with a setup cost of ₹10,000–₹20,000 per home (supporting up to 50 sockets) and a subscription fee of ₹299 per month. This model ensures accessibility while maintaining long-term scalability and service reliability.
With a focus on safety, efficiency, and ease of use, Breathing Home is not just a smart home system—it’s an intelligent living experience that adapts to users’ needs, optimizing comfort and energy usage while ensuring full control over home appliances.
We have created whole hardware code and structure along with the software interface of the main pages in this hackathon duration. It was very fun!
