ChronoSeek is a Bittensor subnet for natural-language video search with precise timestamp results.

The Semantic Video Moment Retrieval (SVMR) Subnet enables semantic search over video content by mapping natural-language scene descriptions to precise timestamp intervals within a video.
This subnet is built on Bittensor and leverages its native incentive mechanism to reward miners that produce high-quality semantic interpretations of video segments.
Validators evaluate miner performance using synthetic tasks and assign on-chain weights accordingly.
The subnet is designed to be:
- Decentralized
- Multimodal (vision, audio)
- Incentive-aligned
- Resistant to spam and reward gamingWe previously built a working centralized MVP using a third-party API during a prior hackathon, validating the core video moment retrieval use case and user demand.
Through that experience, we identified a strong fit for decentralized AI integration via Bittensor.
During this ideathon stage, we have finalized the subnet concept, problem specification, and high-level architecture.
We are fully prepared to begin subnet implementation.
In parallel, we’ve engaged with community influencers and experienced technical leaders within the ecosystem, receiving strategic feedback that has helped refine our positioning, incentive design, and roadmap.
We have not raised external funding yet.
We are currently seeking strategic partners to support mainnet subnet registration on Bittensor (plus, alpha buy-back, operational strategies and marketing) - not in a vendor capacity, but as long-term business partners aligned with ownership, emissions, and ecosystem growth.
Our focus is on partnering with contributors who bring strategic capital, validator strength, distribution, or ecosystem leverage to help launch and scale the subnet sustainably.
