HealthHive is a multi-functional digital health assistant focused on inclusivity, accessibility, and AI-powered healthcare support. Here's what makes it special:
We trained and hosted our own machine learning model that interprets symptoms provided in simple, everyday language by users (including children, elderly, and rural users) and predicts probable diseases. Along with predictions, it suggests medications and necessary precautions, bridging the gap between uncertainty and first-aid awareness.
Using GenAI, the app intelligently maps symptoms to the most relevant specialist—be it a general physician, dermatologist, or others—helping users avoid confusion and saving critical time.
In case of emergencies, the SOS button helps users locate nearby hospitals and NGOs, and in future developments, it will also alert the nearest hospital directly. It uses maps and geolocation to ensure help is always just a tap away.
NGOs, private institutions, and healthcare centers can register themselves with services offered, location, donation info, and specialities. Based on the user’s location, relevant NGOs are shown, promoting transparency, accessibility, and community support.
Our friendly GenAI-powered chatbot acts like a companion, providing emotional support on issues like loneliness, ADHD, stress, and anxiety. It mimics casual, empathetic conversations to help users open up and feel heard in a world that often ignores mental health.

During the hackathon, our team successfully completed 70% of HealthHive , implementing key features that address critical healthcare challenges. We delivered fully functional modules for Disease Prediction , Symptom-to-Doctor Matching , NGO Listing , and a Mental Health Chatbot . These features are powered by technologies like TensorFlow for machine learning, Gemini API for the chatbot, and React for the web interface, ensuring a seamless user experience. The SOS Emergency Button and Authentication System are partially implemented, with plans to integrate real-time hospital alerts and blockchain-based authentication in the future. Our end goal is to achieve full deployment , incorporate blockchain voting mechanisms , and expand the platform to reach more users across diverse communities. Along the way, we faced challenges such as integrating our custom-trained ML model into APIs for both web and app, handling tokenization for AI models, and training the ML models effectively. Additionally, extensive research was conducted to understand societal healthcare gaps, which guided the product's design and functionality. With tools like FastAPI , MongoDB , Express.js , and Flutter , we’ve laid a strong foundation for future enhancements, including a decentralized database and AI agent integration. This progress reflects our commitment to creating an impactful, scalable, and inclusive healthcare solution.
