## The problem
Robinhood lets you name transfer-on-death beneficiaries in its app. Withdraw your stock tokens to self-custody and that protection is gone: your family needs your private keys, which they almost never have. Existing onchain inheritance tools either escrow your assets (you can't trade) or rely on custodians to declare you dead.
## What Kinfolio does
- No escrow: your trust holds an allowance, not your tokens. You keep trading. It can only pull assets after release.
- Trust rules, not just a split: 40% to a spouse at settlement, 30% to a child at 18 and 30% at 25, paid at once or gradually.
- USDG allowance: a separate cash sleeve that streams USDG to an heir. Stocks for the long term, dollars for the monthly bills.
- One-tap veto: if an heir opens a claim while you're alive, one signature cancels it.
- Permissionless settlement: anyone can settle and pay out, but payouts only go to the named heirs and can never be redirected.
## Why it's safe
- One EIP-1167 clone per family, so approvals are isolated
- Zero admin keys: no pause, no upgrade, no fees
- ERC-8056-aware raw-unit accounting, so splits and dividends flow through to heirs
- Issuer pauses are isolated per asset
- 75 unit/fuzz tests, 5 invariants, fork tests of the deployed contracts on mainnet and testnet with real tokens; 99.6% line coverage
