描述
Neon Mech Legion is a live, fully on-chain mech game on Robinhood Chain. 10,000 unique NFT mechs feed a deflationary 3-into-1 synthesis loop that permanently burns supply, a tower-defense combat mode, a Scrapyard burn-to-reclaim furnace, and a parimutuel Battle Pool. Everything runs on mainnet — contracts, rarity, and game state — with zero paid entry.

Problem: on-chain games keep dying at the same step — the asset is tradeable but the game is a mock-up, so players buy, look, and leave. Existing collections on Robinhood Chain have thousands of holders and almost no one playing.
What we built: Neon Mech Legion is a complete, playable loop shipped to mainnet — not a prototype.
1) 10,000 unique mechs, rarity recorded on-chain at mint.
2) Deflationary synthesis: 3 mechs of the same tier are burned in a single transaction to forge 1 higher-tier mech. Total supply permanently drops. This is real burn logic in the contract, not a backend flag.
3) Tower-defense combat: mechs fight as squad units; rarer mechs produce more hashrate and combat power.
4) Scrapyard: retired mechs are burned on-chain and return energy to the player.
5) Battle Pool: a round-based parimutuel pool where players stake mechs against each other, with automatic settlement.
6) A Reactor weight system that computes energy across three dimensions (mech power, staked score, score acquired) and settles allocations weekly.
Why Robinhood Chain: it is an Arbitrum chain with near-zero gas, which is what makes a fully on-chain game loop economically viable at consumer scale. Our entire economic model — mint, fuse, burn, reclaim — only works because transactions cost a fraction of a cent. Cheap gas is not a nice-to-have for us; it is the product's premise.
What is next (what the Buildathon window is for): we have the protocol and the game. What we do not yet have is a repeatable player-acquisition wedge. Over the three weeks we will ship an onboarding funnel and a first-time-player experience designed to convert the existing 4,500+ holders of our asset into actual players, and we will measure it with real retention data rather than vanity mints.
