Pilotage
Permissioned AI pilots for non-custodial DeFi automation.
DeFi is powerful, but demanding. Most users face a difficult choice: leave capital idle, or hand it over to protocols and strategies they cannot fully audit.
Pilotage introduces a third option: permissioned AI pilots.
How it works
With Pilotage, each user deploys a personal non-custodial vault and issues a charter — a cryptographically enforced contract that defines exactly what an AI pilot is allowed to do.
A charter can specify:
which protocols the pilot may interact with,
which tokens it may move,
how much value it may use per day,
how long the authorization remains valid,
and which actions are explicitly forbidden.
The AI pilot can execute DeFi strategies on the user’s behalf, but it is constrained by the charter at the protocol level. It is architecturally impossible for the pilot to drain the vault or send funds to an unauthorized destination.
On-chain verification and reputation
Every action taken by an AI pilot is verified on-chain and scored against the ERC-8004 reputation standard.
Over time, pilots build a transparent and tamper-proof track record. Users can evaluate AI pilots based on verifiable performance history instead of trusting marketing claims, opaque dashboards, or unverifiable agent promises.
