Our project, SecureX-Score, aims to revolutionize credit scoring by addressing the key limitations of existing systems. Traditional methods often struggle with privacy concerns, lack of transparency,
SecureX-Score is an innovative credit scoring system that combines Federated Learning, Blockchain, and Explainable AI to address the limitations of traditional credit evaluation methods.
Unlike conventional systems where sensitive customer data must be centralized, SecureX-Score allows each bank to process data locally, ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance. Model updates are securely transmitted and aggregated at the global level through Blockchain, which guarantees transparency and trust.
The system not only generates accurate and secure credit scores but also integrates Explainable AI (XAI) tools such as SHAP and LIME to provide clear explanations for each decision. This helps both banks and customers understand the reasoning behind the credit score, increasing fairness and trust.
With its secure, transparent, and explainable design, SecureX-Score offers a scalable solution that enhances customer experience while reducing risks for financial institutions.
During the hackathon, our team focused on identifying the major challenges in traditional credit scoring, such as data privacy risks, lack of transparency, and limited interpretability. From there, we proposed the idea of a new solution that integrates Federated Learning, Blockchain, and Explainable AI. We also designed the conceptual system architecture, including data flow, API interactions, and security mechanisms. Although we have not yet built a prototype or demo, this foundation sets the direction for future development, where we aim to implement a fully functional system and create an end-to-end demo to validate our approach in real-world scenarios.
Our project is currently at the ideation and system design stage and has not yet received external funding. At this point, the development is self-initiated and exploratory. In the future, we plan to seek funding opportunities from banks, financial institutions, or innovation grants to support the implementation of a functional prototype, end-to-end demo, and large-scale deployment.
