Seven Seas Protocol is a fully on-chain naval strategy game built on the Mantle Network, where players become captains sailing across a shared ocean, engaging in battles, forming guilds.
Seven Seas Protocol is a strategy-driven multiplayer naval game where players choose a faction Navy or Pirates and compete for dominance across a 100-location ocean map. Each player controls a ship with upgradable stats, manages crew and resources, and earns rewards through active and passive gameplay.
The entire system runs on Mantle Sepolia, leveraging low gas fees and fast block times to enable frequent interactions such as combat, income generation, and NFT yield claims.
Players start by creating an on-chain account, naming their ship, selecting a faction, and choosing a starting location.
Ships earn Gold Per Minute (GPM) in real time, with Mantle enabling 10-second income cycles, making gameplay feel continuous rather than turn-based.
Players can:
Travel across the map
Engage in PvP battles
Upgrade ship stats (attack, defense, speed, HP, crew, GPM)
Hire crew
Repair ships using time, gold, or premium diamonds
Combat outcomes are fully deterministic and handled on-chain, ensuring transparency and fairness.
Pirates can attack anyone, including other pirates.
Navy players can only attack pirates, enforcing asymmetric gameplay.
Safe zones (ports) prevent griefing and allow recovery.
Victories reward gold and XP, while defeats result in temporary setbacks instead of permanent loss.
This creates a balanced risk-reward system without discouraging new players.
Guilds act as the social backbone of the game:
Players can create or join guilds
A percentage of battle loot flows into a guild treasury
Members can claim dividends based on participation
Guild leadership and officer roles introduce coordination and strategy
Guild wars are planned as a future expansion
This demonstrates Mantle’s suitability for on-chain social coordination and shared treasuries.
Seven Seas Protocol includes a seasonal Battle Pass:
XP is earned through normal gameplay (battles, upgrades, check-ins, income claims)
Free and premium tiers ensure accessibility
Premium upgrades are purchased using the ARMADA token
Rewards include gold, diamonds, and ARMADA tokens
This creates long-term engagement without relying on off-chain progression systems.
Ships can be minted into ERC-721 NFTs, transforming in-game progress into tradeable, yield-bearing assets:
NFT ships generate passive ARMADA token yield
Yield rates scale with ship power (0.1%–1% daily)
Ships can be staked for a 2× yield multiplier
NFTs are fully on-chain, marketplace-ready, and composable
This system acts as a foundation for Real-World Asset (RWA) concepts, where digital assets behave like productive capital.
ARMADA is the native ERC-20 utility token used across the ecosystem:
Earned via gameplay, Battle Pass, and NFT yield
Used for premium upgrades and future governance
Integrated with staking and reward distribution
Minted only by authorized game contracts
The token economy is tightly coupled with player activity, preventing inflation without engagement.
Seven Seas Protocol is purpose-built for Mantle:
Low gas fees enable frequent micro-transactions
Fast block times allow near real-time income and progression
High throughput supports multiple interacting smart contracts
Enables complex logic like guild dividends and NFT yield without UX friction
Many of these mechanics would be impractical on higher-fee chains.
Seven Seas Protocol is not just a hackathon demo it is a scalable on-chain game framework that can evolve into:
A full GameFi ecosystem
A DeFi-integrated NFT economy
A social, competitive on-chain world
It demonstrates how Mantle can power the next generation of immersive, economically meaningful blockchain games.
