Silens

Silens is a decentralized protocol designed to bring collective oversight to AI systems. As the public increasingly interacts with large AI models, there's an urgent need to validate and govern them in ways that are transparent, verifiable, and inclusive.

At its core, Silens turns AI model evaluation into a collaborative, on-chain process. Anyone can upload a model reference (e.g. Hugging Face), and community members can interact with it directly, submitting prompts, outputs, and feedback that form a publicly auditable review trail. These interactions are not just data—they’re decisions in motion.

Once a short review phase ends, the platform automatically generates a proposal. Should this model be approved, flagged, or removed from public listings? That decision doesn’t rest with a centralized authority—it’s determined by a quorum of governance voters, selected by reputation and identity via CARV ID (ERC-7231).
