TicketChain is a blockchain-verified ticketing platform built for the FIFA World Cup 2026. It solves one of the most persistent problems in live events: ticket fraud.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of fans buy counterfeit tickets and only discover the scam at the stadium gate — losing hundreds of dollars with no recourse.
TicketChain turns every ticket into an NFT. Each one is uniquely identified on-chain, verifiable in under one second by anyone with a ticket ID, and protected by a smart contract that caps resale at 120% of face value to stop scalping.
The platform integrates all four of Injective's newest technologies:
x402 for instant ETH micropayments on Sepolia — near-zero fees vs. traditional payment processors
CCTP for cross-chain USDC payments from Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, or Avalanche via Circle's bridge
MCP Server for real-time on-chain ticket verification stamped with a live block height on every scan
Agent Skills powering a Groq Llama 3.3-70b AI fraud detection agent that identifies counterfeits, flags suspicious resale patterns, and answers user questions in real time
Over the course of the hackathon, the full TicketChain platform was designed, built, and deployed from scratch:
Day 1: Architecture design, Next.js 15 project scaffolding, design system, and landing page with live World Cup 2026 match data integrated
Day 2: NFT ticket marketplace with 12 real listings across 16 World Cup venues, wallet integration (MetaMask + Keplr), and the full x402 payment flow with real Sepolia transactions
Day 3: CCTP cross-chain payment flow (5 source chains), MCP Server verification endpoint with live block-height proof, counterfeit and used-ticket detection
Day 4: Groq AI Fraud Detection Agent with custom Agent Skills, dashboard with ticket ownership history, anti-scalping enforcement UI
Day 5: Bug fixes, TypeScript clean build, Vercel production deployment, GitHub push, README documentation

Pre-revenue / Hackathon prototype stage.
TicketChain is currently an open-source hackathon project with no external funding. The core infrastructure is fully functional as a demo. A production deployment would require:
Smart contract audit and deployment on Injective mainnet
Partnership with an official ticket issuer or sports federation
Circle CCTP production API access for real USDC bridging
