An on-chain Mafia game powered by U2U, Filecoin, and native U2U tokens

Pepasur is a multiplayer Mafia-style social deduction game reimagined for Web3.
Players take on mythological roles - Asur (Mafia), Dev (Doctor), Manav (Villager), and Rishi (Detective) - and compete through staking, commit-reveal mechanics, and sabotage.

Pixel-art avatars, NFTs, and other assets are stored on Filecoin using the Synapse SDK, ensuring permanence and verifiability.
Game logic, staking, and payouts run on the U2U Mainnet using native U2U tokens, chosen for its scalability, security, and ultra-low fees.

🧩 Hackathon Progress Pepasur was born during a hackathon out of late-night brainstorming, endless testing, and a shared obsession with building something truly on-chain. We started with a simple idea: what if Mafia could live on the blockchain? From that spark, we merged U2U smart contracts, Filecoin permanence, and native U2U tokens to craft a fully decentralized social deduction experience. Our first milestone was deploying PepAsur.sol on the U2U Testnet, enabling commit-reveal gameplay and staking. By mid-hackathon, our Filecoin integration brought avatars and NFTs to life, pixel by pixel, CID by CID. From technical sprints to meme-filled marketing nights, we built Pepasur as more than a game - it’s a Web3 experiment in identity, trust, and deception. 🐸 Follow our journey: @0xPepasur
