We were a 4-member team at a 3-day hackathon and built Zyura, a blockchain-based flight delay insurance platform on Arbitrum. It removes paperwork, KYC, and long claim approvals. Travelers just pay a premium, and smart contracts handle instant payouts when flights are delayed. Arbitrum gives us fast, low-fee, transparent transactions, making it scalable worldwide with scope to expand into railways and roadways. We spent day 1 on ideation and architecture, day 2 coding smart contracts, frontend, and integration, and day 3 testing and preparing the pitch.
