The basic motive of your app, SAFE SAKHI, is to empower and protect women by providing a comprehensive platform that ensures safety, fosters community support, and addresses security concerns through real-time features, privacy, and resources for personal protection.
CAMPUS SAFETY -
1. Buddy System: A feature that allows students who feel unsafe due to late hours or prefer company to connect with others heading to the same location. They can also find a mentor who will guide and accompany them to their destination.
2.Contact Nearby Peers and Relatives via Maps: When entering an unsafe area, students can reach out to nearby friends or relatives through an integrated map feature for added safety.
3.SOS Button: An emergency button that alerts campus authorities and nearby police for immediate assistance.
4.Community Mentors: Mentors from the Avira Society (Martial Arts Society) and the Taekwondo Team to help empower girls by teaching them self-defense techniques.
5.Chat with Campus Dispensary: A direct communication feature for students to connect with the campus dispensary for medical assistance.
WOMEN SAFETY NETWORK -
1.Access to Resources: Provides self-defense tutorials, community sessions, webinars, information about relevant laws for students and professionals, and updates on recent cases.
2.Anonymous Reporting Section: A platform where students can freely share complaints and concerns without revealing their identity.
3. Helpline Numbers: A centralized collection of important helpline numbers, both national and campus-specific, for quick access.
