Create, Iterate, and Innovate!
Every month, Linea will host a mini, online buildathon to celebrate and reward continuous hacking! For October and November Dev Cook-off, we will have a 10,000 USD pool prize distributed to qualified projects.
You can create a new project, iterate on an ongoing one, or revive and refresh that old side project you've been wanting to get back to.
That means you don't need to start from scratch! The only requirement is that you're building with Linea, made progress on your project in the current month, and you've posted about your project on social (and included a frog somewhere)!
This is a great opportunity to win some small prizes alongside your regular building, improve on past hackathon projects, and get exposure to the Linea team and community!

We'll be distributing $5000 amongst the top qualified projects. This can take the form of two outstanding projects receiving $2500 each, 10 projects receiving $500 each, or, in the case that no submissions meet our quality bar, no prize money being distributed for that month.

To qualify for rewards, please ensure the project is deployed on Linea. If you build sth. using Hemera/Verax then you would qualify for both Linea general track and Hemera track. If you build sth. else but still deployed on Linea like a frog-themed crowdfunding dapp then you would qualify only for Linea general track.

Verax/Hemera Bounty
There are 5 themes we suggest for hackers trying to integrate with Verax/Hemera. Prize money will be distributed among qualifying projects that successfully integrate with Verax/Hemera, based on these themes:
Theme 1: Linea Ecosystem Data Analytics App/Dashboard
Theme 2: SocialFi
Theme 3: DeFi
Theme 4: GameFi
Theme 5: DiD (Decentralized Identity)

We'll be distributing an extra 2.5 ETH weekly (*editor's note: this will be announced on Linea X and Discord each week) to those who share their projects on social media. Use this chance to get your work noticed, engage with the community, and earn extra rewards.
To participate,
- share a video presentation of you hackathon project on platforms like X, YouTube, Instagram, Warpcast, TikTok, or LinkedIn, showcasing what you've built on Linea.
- Include details about your build, what makes it unique, and how it's leveraging Linea.

The Linea team will evaluate all social posts shared in the Discord channel, taking into account
- Functionality and technicality - How complete and complex is the project?
- Really great UX - How easy is it for a new user to navigate or how easy it is to follow the tutorial?
- Originality - How original and innovative is the project? Is it pushing the boundaries of on-chain use cases?
- Goshdarnit this is cool - A catch-all vibe check for projects that are simply fun to interact with
Projects wil be ranked by the Linea team and received rewards proportional to their position. Note that other contributors outside of this hackathon will also be participating.

1. Linea Ecosystem Data Analytics App/Dashboard
Participants can create innovative dashboards that integrate Hemera’s ACI (Account-Centric Indexing) within the Linea ecosystem for engagement analysis. Using Hemera's powerful data infrastructure and APIs, the dashboards should provide comprehensive insights into user activity across various projects on the Linea blockchain.
The analytics dashboards may showcase on-chain activity patterns, user distribution, and provide deeper analysis of project-specific engagement metrics, offering valuable insights into user behavior across the ecosystem.
2. SocialFi
Build a cross-platform engagement tracker that aggregates user interactions across multiple decentralized social DApps on Linea, providing comprehensive user activity insights.
