FaiRemix introduces Proof of Inspiration — a fairness-first protocol for remix culture, enabling creators to provably link their work to upstream influences and receive automatic attribution and royalties onchain. It creates a transparent graph of creative lineage, rewarding inspiration and collaboration while maintaining creator control. Powered by Zora, and remix-friendly standards, FaiRemix makes creative credit fair, programmable, and interoperable.

What it is:

An onchain attribution layer where creators register original works and optionally declare inspirations, collaborators, and tools. Any future remixed or derivative content can cite, credit, and reward these sources transparently — creating a graph of remix genealogy.

Key:

If your work (image, code, article, beat) inspires others → You earn attribution-based rewards via the FaiRemix protocol. Creators can cite upstream inspiration, collaborators, and tools → And choose how remixable their work is (license + royalty rules). All attribution is immutable, onchain, and optionally tied to FAIR3 staking or governance.

ZK Role:

Enable private proofs of influence — e.g., remix derived from source without revealing full path.

Preserve creative privacy while still enabling fair attribution logic.

Useful for AI-assisted workflows or sensitive inspiration chains.

Problem Statement

In today’s fast-paced digital creative ecosystem, inspiration is foundational but often invisible. Creators remix, sample, and evolve one another’s work — yet the original spark rarely gets recognized or rewarded.

Despite the rise of AI tools, open content, and remix culture, there’s no fair, verifiable, and privacy-preserving way to trace creative lineage and ensure contributors across the remix chain are properly credited or compensated.
