During the hackathon, our team successfully developed a fully functional prototype of MetaLoot, including wallet connection via MetaMask SDK, lootbox NFT smart contract using Solidity, and a random reward generator that distributes USDC, partner tokens, or discount NFTs upon opening. The frontend was built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, while Ethers.js handled all blockchain interactions. We also implemented a real-time dashboard that displays lootbox inventory, transaction history, and rewards earned. The project includes Circle Wallets integration for stablecoin handling and optional LI.FI SDK support for cross-chain reward routing. Within just a few days, we turned a creative idea into a complete, gamified cashback system with strong user experience, real-world utility, and extensibility for future partner integrations.

MetaLoot is currently bootstrapped and not actively fundraising. Our focus during the hackathon has been on building a strong, functional MVP that showcases the core value of gamified DeFi rewards through the MetaMask Card. We’ve proven early traction potential through a seamless user experience and scalable smart contract architecture. While we are open to strategic partnerships and future funding to expand MetaLoot into a full-fledged platform, our immediate priority is refining the product, engaging early users, and unlocking further use cases through collaboration with ecosystem partners like MetaMask, Circle, and LI.FI.
