MantleCoop is a decentralized cooperative finance (SACCO/Chama) protocol built on the Mantle Network that enables groups to pool capital, earn yield, and access credit transparently using on-chain infrastructure.

The platform modernizes traditional community savings groups by bringing real-world cooperative finance on-chain, combining programmable vaults, compliant participation, and transparent governance powered by smart contracts.

MantleCoop bridges the gap between informal financial systems and scalable Web3 infrastructure, enabling communities to access trustless, auditable, and yield-generating financial services.

Problem Statement

Across emerging markets, millions of people rely on informal savings groups (SACCOs, Chamas, ROSCAs) for access to capital. However, these systems suffer from:

• Manual record keeping and lack of transparency

• High risk of mismanagement or fraud

• Limited access to yield-generating instruments

• No verifiable on-chain credit history

• Poor scalability beyond small trusted circles

Traditional DeFi, on the other hand, is capital-efficient but inaccessible to real-world communities due to complexity, compliance gaps, and lack of social context.

There is a clear gap between community finance and decentralized finance.

Proposed Solution: MantleCoop

MantleCoop is a RealFi protocol that enables groups to form on-chain cooperatives where members can:

• Pool funds into a shared vault

• Earn yield through compliant on-chain strategies

• Access community-backed loans

• Govern funds transparently using on-chain voting

Each cooperative is deployed as a dedicated smart contract vault built on Mantle’s low-cost, high-throughput infrastructure.
