AIA Chain, an EVM-compatible payment blockchain, partnered with Web3 education platform HackQuest to host the AIA Chain Inaugural Hackathon. This beginner-friendly global event encouraged creativity and innovation in blockchain applications, offering a $15,000 USDT prize pool to celebrate standout Web3 projects in Consumer and GameFi tracks while advancing AIA Chain’s ecosystem growth.

Running from September to November 2024, the event engaged 280 participants, resulting in 120 project submissions that pushed the boundaries of decentralized technology. With a $15,000 prize pool, the hackathon rewarded innovation across two primary tracks: Consumer Applications and GameFi, recognizing 11 exceptional winners.

Out of 120 submissions, 11 winning projects were selected for their standout quality in innovation, technical complexity, creativity, and impact.

Consumer Track (DeFi and Infrastructure)

Winners ($2,000 USDT each)

●BugHuntr.ai: A platform that combines artificial intelligence with blockchain technology to analyze and verify smart contract security.

●Daccy: A project which aims to simplify and personalize learning experience on DSA and other tech related topics while utilizing AIA blockchain.

●EcoRewards: A decentralized marketplace designed to promote sustainable waste management and recycling by incentivizing individuals, recyclable material sellers, recycling centers, companies, and other eco-conscious buyers to actively participate.

Participation Awards ($800 USDT each)

●Payroll Protocol: A confidential money distribution platform built on top of the AIA chain, designed to provide confidentiality during the distribution of funds on-chain.

●Plaia Zone: A decentralized crowdfunding platform empowering gamers to create and fund campaigns and loans for their gaming needs.

●QuestFlow: A decentralized gig economy platform on AIA Chain, connecting tasks and bounties with secure, token-based incentives.

●AIA Canvas: A decentralized platform that empowers users to collaboratively create and mint vibrant pixel art on a canvas.

●Pump.Aia: A launchpad targeted towards communities according to use cases not just with memecoin but assets, content and many more

GameFi Track

Winners ($1,000 USDT each)

●Alathia: War of the Gods: A multiplayer NFT card game that combines strategy, skill, and blockchain technology.

●BRO💪FIGHTS: An on-chain NFT game where users can mint Bro NFTs and engage in battles with other Bro NFT players.

●Lunar Liao: A decentralized astrology platform offering personalized readings, Kundli analysis, and anonymous discussions.

As Harry Zhang, co-founder at HackQuest, mentioned, "We're excited for AIA to choose HackQuest to host its inaugural hackathon." The winners were selected by a distinguished panel of judges from AIA Chain and HackQuest, based on innovation, technical complexity, creativity, and execution, with projects scored out of 20 points, emphasizing real-world applicability and ecosystem alignment.
